My marigolds are budding. Some of my tomato plants are 6" high... which is surprising given the tiny planters they're in.

In the photo below, I'm growing 24 marigolds, 12 Ace 55 tomatoes, 12 Marion tomatoes, 12 white alyssum (after eggplant in the same planters failed to germinate), 24 Cubanelle peppers, 24 Jalapeno peppers, 24 Homestead 24 tomatoes. In another planter, I've got chives and fennel grown last year. The fennel doesn't look like it'll survive, but I think the chives will. And I've got several pots of mint. Most of the older plants are anxious to be planted.

You are on a hell of a roll - and the common three letters should not say PIT they should say TIP!!!!

Sadly I did not buy any below $8 like I could/should have.

Ohh well - life goes on!

Gonna be a great day to transplant my tomato seedlings - seems like I have 9 or 10 varieties this year - will be another month+/- before they go in the ground. Peppers planted 2 days ago - 16 cayenne, 12 poblano, 4 purple bells and 4 jalapeno's should yield plenty for dried cayenne and a ton of chili relleno's - something I have always wanted to make and master.

I have garlic, shallots, onions. cilantro, tomatoes, jalapenos so looks like canning some salsa will be in my future also!!

AND - what do you folks think of my logo for Discers-4-Whiskers?? One small change will be straighten the lines in the body of the disc and then next week I will file for registered trademark protection and start on plans to go national. Decided to proceed with the raffle for the Bonefish Grill Dinner Excursion for 8 valued at $750. So far so good - here is the spreadsheet and we should smash the $1,000 we raised last year.
