Re: "HOWEVER, we don't know if they provided hydroxychloroquine in conjunction with azithromycin and zinc. The article doesn't say, so further analysis is needed."And now there's confirmation that this study did not include azithromycin and zinc. That makes it a worthless study. It really doesn't matter whether hydroxychloroquine is ineffective by itself. It isn't meant to be taken that way.

Re: "It seems to have helped LOTS of other patients who ere on ventilators to get well so apaprently it works good on some people and on some others it does not... It does not HURT anyone who takes it and the worst case scenario should be no change. But give it to thepatient EARLY into this sickness and not LATE.... Time is not on the patient's side...."
They're possibly imagining it. Most people with COVID-19 recover without any medicine (though most on ventilators do not). Formal studies are what tell the tale and this one found the drug to be of no value. HOWEVER, we don't know if they provided hydroxychloroquine in conjunction with azithromycin and zinc. The article doesn't say, so further analysis is needed.

There will be other studies. The truth will be known soon enough.
