Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

you are but one of MILLIONS who are supposed to get it but as of yet do not. I am in same exact shoes. I don't need it to live on bt will likely use it to go toward downpayment on a vehicle for my wife to replace her 2004 Kia Optima with 98,000 original mles on it, in great condition, suspensio, brakes, tires all new and runs great.

She simply wants a small crossover where she can sit up higher and see the road better so a compact crossover is in the near future..

We purchased that Kia used at 4 years old in 2008 and it had 51,000 miles on it. The Food services manager at Greater Cincinnati International Airport traded it in on a new 5 series BMW and we bought it from the BMW store.

So that's likely where our stimulus checks wil be going, toward the downpayment on a newer vehicle for miz micro...

I have a small construction project to do yet involving taking off the barn shaped roof of my storage shed and then lengtheneing the shed by 8 feet and raising the height of the sidewalls to 8 feet by adding on to the back of it. It is 8 feet wide. I can take the rear T-111 siding off there and add a floor extension and walls and am thinking of whether to add another door or just keep the double doors on the front. I think that may be easiest. Obviously have to re-roof this shed which will now be 8 feet wide x 20 feet long and will just use a standard 4:12 roof slope.

It's all carpentry my man! So I am hoping to do this as summer gets closer and then I can have room for my Cub Cadet inside and more storage easier to get to things.
