The journalists writing these stories are delusional. This one claims that COVID-19 deaths in the US might not be as bad as the seasonal flu, which the journalist says has killed 62,000.

Well, COVID-19 has killed 45,000, and 2,800 of those deaths were *yesterday* (Tuesday). At that rate, COVID-19's American victims will be beyond 62,000 in about 7 more days. How gullible does the author believe his audience to be??
