...captain, I have been considering this situation and have come to the conclusion that we are giving the right vaccination for this economic disaster, but we are giving it in the wrong place.
...they are whining about folks not paying their rent. They want to bail out "this realestate company" they want to bail out "that big bank". The folks who can't pay their rent still get kicked to the curb.
...why don't they give this infusion of cash into the lower end. Pay these folks rent. The real estate companies will be whole, the banks will be secure and all will be happy.
...I generally oppose government bailouts, but if we gonna do em, let's do em where it will help everybody, not just the big typhoons at the top.
