This afternoon, I went to Property #2 to install my new shop lights. I put in four upstairs and 3 downstairs. It's nice to see the place flooded with light at the flip of a switch, let me tell you!

I was also happy that the electrician has been there and that progress has been made, though there's still a lot he has to do. His work is not photo-worthy.

Finally, the well is progressing. Nobody was present to answer my questions, but here (below) are six pics. Your guess is as good as mine as to why, exactly, this truck is jacked-up .

The well is being "pounded," btw, as opposed to being "drilled." Pounding usually costs more, though it depends on how deep they need to go. It generally finds water sooner, so it COULD wind up costing less than a drilled well in the same location. Pounding shatters surrounding rock as it descends and draws in water from a wide area. Pounded wells tend not to be as deep. That can be good too since deeper wells have a better chance of including unwanted contaminants.
