...the drug was given routinely to guys in the pacific in WWII and then to folks in Nam later. Both tropical climates. It's been around for a long time and it's use is no more controversial than alka seltzer. Maybe it's a cure, maybe it's a placebo that works half the time. Whatever, ya can't just let people lay there thinkin ya not doing anything to help em. If ya do they will die. I expect that resistance to using this comes from big pharm who don't like old cures for a new disease. Especially if it is cheap and there are no "research grants" available. When I wuz a toddler my we took Cod Liver Oil for everything. This particular drug should be "across the counter".
