My wife and I went to Kroger at 7:00 a.m. this morning and were at Walmart yesterday and Meijer. There are total of 11 known cases of this virus in our entire county which is pretty large.
None of them near us. Or close.
Very spread out....
Looks like Ne Orleans is finding out why you don;t keep on withthe debauchery aka MardiGras when you have a virus running around and most of the idiots carrying on downthere have no clue that in an international city how many people mayw ell have the virus and are just spreading it, (sharing with love) to everyone that is partying hardy.
It wasn't the city's best day for exercising any thought processes or critical and rational thinking.
What is the point?
Simple. Just think about where really HIGH rates of patients exist. In very crowded and densely packed living spaces and neghorhoods....
Think LARGE high rise apartments and ZOO YORK, Philadelphia, ROW HOUSES, HIGH URBAN populations, and add tourist destinations from worldwide to that brew.
Now you have a recipe for spreading a virus that will work well.
And so you have these places like DETROIT, New Orleans, Zoo York, Californuttica cities, Seattle, Philadelphia, that are the HOTSPOTS that anyone who thinks about it would expect them to be.... And for the obvious reasons stated.
Nobody seems to want to talk about DENSITY of population in a small area like these places where are apartments are stacked like cord wood on top of one another, and you have people flying in from all over the world to boot.
Makes perfect sense to me...
Here where I live, a minimum is half an acre of land for a house... You are not close by to a neighbor. FEW apartment buildings but nothing like the big, old, urban cities..... There is less risk of spreading a virus around here than all of those places where the SKY IS FALLING and we are all going to die dire warnings and predictions being tossed around...
Sure, this is a little worse thing to catch than H1N1 maybe, but we all needed a shot for that too and lots of people died from it worldwide as well.
I don't recall the Feds trying to tell everyone to stay inside, and come out only when we tell you its okay. They shut down everyone's means of income and now generously are doling out money and being the dependency on government for money routine does not sit well with me.
What is Next.???? We have lost our fredoms.. Like it or not or wjatever reason or justification you may want to use, but these have all been great excuses to usurp your freedoms and give them up without much resistance .
Worked like a charm...... And we like sheep sit back and willingly nod our heads in submissive obedience because we don't realize we just gave away our freedoms..
I know I am going to hear all about how horrible a thing it is if you catch this. Really? Why then is it that so very many, a MAJORITY BY FAR, that tests positive don;t have hardly ANY signs they even have it? Why do so many get over it in a week? Why do so many say that it is like a cold?
True. There are SOME (out of tens of thousands) whose smptoms are worse but YOU do not know what was wrong with them to begin with... Do we now?
I am sorry. Like Ribs and so many others rather than be drafted I went to war and fought communists who were terrorizing civilians and murdering people for no reason. Torturing them in unimaginable ways... What I saw I will never forget and have not. I was fighting for my country and for the freedom of the South Vitnamese people. They deserved the same freedom our forefathers began a war with the greatest armed forces on the planet at that time so we could be a free society and people and NOT HAVE Government telling us where we can go, or when we peep out our doors, or shut down our sources of income and living....
Maybe you think it's okay under the exaggerated conditions being reported but from where I am, these conditions do not exist. And in the vast majority of places in America they do not exist.... America is a HUGE area and the reports from a few should not condemn every citizen to basically voluntary Martial LAw, willfully and blissfully nodding our heads and giving up your rights one by one.... All in the name of being told you might, maybe, could, possibly, catch this covid 19 which seems to be fairly wide spread but really looks like it is concentrated mostly in pockets and high population, densely packed people areas.
And if ANY of them exercised ANY judgment earlier, they would not be having this either.
So, while I am not going to argue that this is not more than a typical strain of common influeza, as De has pointed out, what want to point out is the HOT ZONES of passing this around, the natures of them, and the LOSING of your daily freedoms and rights which looks like a GRAB rightnow as these rights are not being stood up for and it is easy for these Pieces of government leeches to do.
It is a shame that people cannot open their eyes to what is being taken from them.
We worry about a covid 10 virus.....
You should have woried when the lead was flying by a division of NVA regulars and artillery shells and mortars blowing up everything around you and the shrapnel whizzing past you and not into you hopefully. Seeing your friend next to you being blown up in half or taking multiple hits from the bullets of the AK 47's coming from thousands of enemy fighters.
That was a whole lot more frightening to me than this little virus.
GOD will protect me if itis HIS WILL. As long as I remainin the perfect will of God, I will enjoy the peace of God and HIS protection because only HE has appointed every single one of us a time to depart this body and world and go be with HIM in a new, long lasting body in HIS Heaven. Jesus said so that WHERE HE IS, There WE may be also...
So I leave it at this. I am tired of seeing my blood shed rights that our ancestors gave everything to gain for all of us being taken so easily and without so much as a whimper.
