Re: "3% Of Restaurants Have Closed Permanently"That's all? Really? I'd expect it to be more like 75% of all restaurants. I think the "dining out" experience is going to be one of the casualties in post-coronavirus America. Not only will Americans be poorer, but so will the restaurant owners. And it will be a while before anyone WANTS to sit at the same table that others they don't know have been at.

The same will be true for movie theaters... parties with friends... nights at the symphony... life in the city... parent/teacher meetings... maybe even classrooms. A lot of things are going to take a hit - if not fatal, at least impactful. My wife was already told that her upcoming cardiology appointment will be handled over the phone. Imagine that: Doctors don't want their patients to come in. Speaking for myself, I can tell you that the feeling is mutual! I didn't want to go in to get my blood tested this last week. I tried to get out of it. I even asked if it could be done outside. A nurse at the hospital said "No, but it may come to that."
