2008 . . .
I think it was GE and PFE that cut their dividends on me.
And some bank stock I owned some of at the time. (The bank
did a reverse split then got 'owned' by something else.
fortunately it was a small bit player in my portfolio.)

Dividend wise I didn't do all that bad in 2008.

I hear you on the 'rich and infamous' screwing the little
guys every which way but loose. But, at least with the
dividends and 'qualified dividends' I can make money with
a smaller tax bite - just like 'they' can.
