Northwest Eye Surgeons is committed to providing a clean, safe, low-risk environment for your eye care. We are closely following the guidelines for COVID-19 provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Washington Department of Health.
At this time, Northwest Eye Surgeons is restricting all elective and non-urgent surgeries for patients, and focusing on urgent-only cases. Elective and non-urgent surgeries will be rescheduled to a date after May 18, 2020, in response to state government proclamation. You will be receiving a call from our staff to reschedule.
Due to the recent rise in respiratory related illnesses, we are screening temperatures of our patients/visitors and staff. Visitors may be asked to wait in their car. We will be asking the following questions:
Have you developed a fever above 100F, cough or new shortness of breath, in the days prior to your appointment?
Have you been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, or an individual who has symptoms of COVID-19, and has traveled from a known infected country in the last 14 days?
Cleaning protocols throughout the day and between each patient have been increased. Please wash or sanitize your hands upon entering the building, and do not bring excess visitors with you to your appointment.
We value your decision to entrust us with your eye care needs and will strive to keep a safe environment for patients and staff. Should you have any questions or concerns at all, please call us at 800-826-4631 and we will do what we can to address your needs. We wish you the very best as you navigate these challenging times.
Stay well,
Northwest Eye Surgeons
