It is early in your Zone so be patient and just keep the shallots and garlic well weeded. I would guess you will harvest in mid July or thereabouts. My tomato seedlings are doing well and I started poblano and cayenne peppers yesterday. I think I am going to remove 1/2 of my Egyptian Walking Onions and plant some GA sweets in their place.
I do not have the growing sun or heat from the sun. Mine have started coming up pretty good. Not as high as yours, but they are trying!! Lookin good...
