I always try to be ahead of the pack. When I was buying T.P., my cart wasn't quite as bad as the one in the photo below... but it was close (I had six of these "mega packs") and I did it twice. I still laugh at the fact that nobody had a clue as to why I was buying so much. Today, everyone would know... and instead of joking, people would as likely as not criticize or even attack the buyer.

I think preppers are, generally, smart. Last minute preppers aren't really preppers at all. They are, generally, fools who didn't think ahead in the least. On top of everything else, warehouse stores are near the top of the list of places that actual preppers would want to avoid. The risk of contracting COVID-19 in such a place now offsets the benefit of buying whatever it is that the stores sell.
