He was yet another one of GOD's creations that has an eternal soul just like you and GOD still loved HIM in spite of his sins, which are no worse than yours or mine or the Apostle PAul's. They will all cause you to die and go to hell directly unless your sin has been washed in the blood of Christ.
We always need to remember that God hates sin. HE LOVES the sinner and gave his own Son to die for that sinner so that he could be forgiven and believe in Christ and have eternal home in heaven and dwell with the ONER who loves him and gave Himself to rescue him...
