Miz micro and I went to try on shoes, gym shoes that is.
I am really fussy because every step I take is like a sledge hammer nailing my low back. Nemo can likely realate to that.
I have a pair of shoes from Ortho Feet that are well cushioned and have lots of give inside and they work reasonably well but they are BUTT ugly and I needed something else to wear.
SO I tried the Asics Gel Nimus 22 which is supposed to be like walking on a cloud.
It wasn't.
So the youngster says to me I should try the Brooks Ghost. He claimed they were significantly lighter in weight and had a lot more cushioned forgiveness than the Top rated Asics.
I said bring them to me please. He did and I put them on and stood. So far, so good. Now I need to walk on a hard surfaced floor to test them. After a few minutes they kept feeling better and, I was not getting that shock wave sent up top my lower back and spine with each step...
ALL my other gym shoes do that to me. SO I am down to one pair of shoes I can literally wear and walk in.
These shoes are everything the young man at the shoe department told me they were. I have them on right now .
SO, I have found a very good, featherweight extreme cushioned, shock absorbtion in the heel area SHOE that I can walk in reasonably comfortably...
These are the Brooks Ghost shoes. If you need a new pair of comfortable to walk in or run shoe, these are them... Best shoe I have had in past couple decades...
And, I am so glad that this youngster tookl the time to help an old arthritic eaten up old guy...
