It was called the Spanish flu, from the show I watched tonight.......And all the shows and radio I have listened to lately call it a variation of flu. Maybe they are full of chit as well LOL Nothing was mentioned about a cold.........

It's a variation of a common cold, not a common flu. Same for MERS and SARS. Coronaviruses have traditionally caused 30% of all colds.

1918 saw a variation of a common flu. It killed 70 million.
