Out of curiosity: Is your home temperature higher in the winter than in the summer?
...first off, let me advise you that mz ribit informs me that there is a difference between summer degrees and winter degrees. I like a cooler house, but mz ribit assures me that she is quite capable of operating the thermostat and the remote control without any interference on my part. BTW: Mz ribits breath turns to steam at any temperature below 72.
...winter temp night 62 day 70
...summer temp night 72 day 72
The above is based on a series of observations made while standing in the hallway with my hands in my pockets so mz ribit will not think I am trying to change the temperature and usurp her authority.
BTW: Went out yesterday and stocked up on a buncha crap. It's stuff I can use even if the world don't end. I bought a fifty roll pack of toilet paper. Got home to put it up and there is another 50 rollpack mz ribit bought before she had her knee surgery. We will be pooping even if we don't eat during the crisis.
Got enough canned goods for a couple of weeks, already had a couple of weeks supply. Freezer is full. WE can stand a month or so without going out of the house unless mz ribit starts suffering from a disease called "WWD". It's real name is Walmart Withdrawal Syndrome. One time the power went off all over Toadsuck Georgia and she could not see the warm glow of the local Walmart lights in the sky. I thought I was gonna lose her, but she recovered doing only minor damage to my credit card.
