Flu season: October through March. Cold season: August through April. Countries that have had cases of Covid-19 but no breakout? Most of the tropical ones. Outbreaks south of the equator? Only Malaysia and Singapore, neither of which has had a death. Winter hasn't yet brought cold weather to any countries south of the equator.

Out of curiosity: Is your home temperature higher in the winter than in the summer? Mine isn't. I might run the air conditioner in the summer, but the indoor temperature is still usually in the upper 70s. Winter? 68° .
