What bothers me the most about this thing is the part about it being worse the second time around. Not only does that mean that there IS a second time around, but also... when I say worse, I mean LOT worse.

Days ago, I posted "Humanity is screwed." I'm probably wrong, but %^@#$!

They are both incorrect - or, at least, what they've said is misleading. Flu is only worse in the sense that a billion people per year catch it, so, yes, it kills more people. (Give nCoV a little time and that will no longer be true.) However, in a normal year, if you were forced to choose between catching flu and catching nCoV, you'd definitely want the flu. It's not even close. Here are some stats:
