Hi Kathy, no worries. You’re correct that they installed a pacemaker last time.
======

I thought so, even though I don't trust my memory anymore. Two of my three brothers have pacemakers, so I associated it with that/them.
=======

after all the tests the past couple days, they sent her back home with no new surgeries.
======

Bob, if you don't mind saying, I am curious about Mila's symptoms which warranted this emergency flight. Doctors would have had to order this in order to make immediate arrangements. Must have alarmed your daughter at home, then the local hospital got worried and then on to St. Louis.
======

i sent decomp some pics and video, since I seem to have lost the ability to post my own images these days.
======

Seems you have your priorities straight. Anxiety over your granddaughter takes precedence over picture- posting.

"Decomp" - ? hmmm, never heard of him. BOB, LISTEN WELL, MY DEAR. If you ever need help posting pictures or videos, I would be happy to help you. You can ask anyone here who the expert is! I post pictures and videos almost 24/7, so don't hesitate to relay what you need done. (If I could post pictures, Bob, I would photoshop pictures of myself on Christy Brinkley's body. She is so out of shape, it's ridiculous.)

..what if we had universal health care, medicare for all?

=======

You're asking the wrong person if you think I am PRO-MEDICARE FOR ALL. I am definitely NOT.
As an aside, we used to vacation in Fl often. All of the Canadians spent their winters there and a few Brits as well.
This is a disgusting story, but it must be told. Welp, actually, it doesn't have to be told, but what the hell.
There was a woman named Barbara from Canada who had socialized medicine. One day she starts telling me that she had a "female issue" that had to be tended to when she returned to Canada. She had a falling uterus. Omg, she was making me sick. She had to somehow keep pushing it back up so she could function. I said, "why didn't you get that fixed before you came to Fl?" She said she was ON A LIST and her waiting time was 6 months. WHAT?!#@

YES, my precious gents, I was wearing my sign. Bob, I apparently wear a sign that says, "talk to me and tell me everything about yourself."

I felt ill every time I went in that pool. I kept thinking there were uterus flakes floating in the pool.

--------

So, the point is that NO SOCIALIZED MEDICINE in the United States, EVER. We're Americans and we don't wait on line for anything, most especially when we are sick.

Would the government have paid the 70 grand for Mila's private jet to St. Louis had we had universal health care? Maybe if Mila had 6 months to wait, and that would only be IF a team of doctors agreed that she needed specialized care.

There was a movie "John Q." which aligns with your situation. I don't suggest you watch it, but it does demonstrate the desperation that one feels when faced with horrific medical issues.

==============

I know there are "age limitations" regarding heart transplants. There is no harm in signing her up, as you can always change your mind later. Just a suggestion, which you can consider, or NOT.

=========

We are all praying for Mila, her Mom/your daughter and you, the Grandpa.

Maybe you could hang out with us once in a while, but watch out for RIBIT, as he is very introverted. We have all been trying to get him to loosen up a bit.

Warm thoughts, Bob.

in the back of my mind...a thought experiment...what if we had universal health care, medicare for all?

would the fed government have paid the $70k to transport her in a private jet to st. louis? or deny that trip after some panel spent days reviewing the case details? or what?
