Service adviser called from the dealership about 16 miles away. He said it looks like I may get my car back tomorrow mid-afternoon. The new engine arrived arly this morning and the mechanic already has gone through it and now has to add all the fluids, install it into my car, hook up harness connections and connect to Tranny and stuff. He said he should likely be done by around 3:00 p.m.
THAT would be both great and amazing... SO I guess I will return the rental after lunch and miz micro can chauffer me back home till we go pick up our vehicle with brand spanking new engine and all interior components.
Been an interesting past couple weeks but I have been very blessed and fortunate....
I put synthetic blend in this engine every 5,000 miles with a new factory filter so I do not understand why it seized on me... It was well taken care of. Oh well.
Cannot wait to get my baby back... Heated seats for my low back once again... The simple things in life that make it more tolerable.... I must be getting old....
