Alas, my 15 weeks of "guberment" work has ended. Little Napoleon called me into the boss's office and said it was nothing personal and said they were going to terminate my employment - I politely told them no need as I was resigning. He did not get the chance to even tell me his petty reasoning as I did not, and do not care. I had cleaned out my area last Friday so exiting was simply taking my microwave and saying "hasta la vista and good luck" to everyone as they shockingly watched me walk out the door.
I would like to thank GOD for sooo many things and for obviously nudging me back into what I need to be doing. Proof of this fact was an email I got yesterday morning from Tito's handmade vodka about their partnership with http://www.discers4whiskers.com We will have a conversation/conference call the first week of March. I requested that they donate $10,000 to the SPCA of the Triad for their new building fund. They donated $1,000 last year to a "dry" event - this year my venue is a private property that is a perfect location and no permits needed to enjoy their libations. Camping will be encouraged (I have a new tent - yea!!) - I might have a local band play after the event as an additional fundraiser and we might even play glow golf, yes in the dark, after the round!!
I am once again FREE, FREE at last and I thank GOD almighty!!
Ohh yea - one last thing. As I am obviously the only bored member who has had BEAR meat I will say this again. BEAR, regardless of how it is cooked, is still NASTY imho. I have had moose, caribou, elk, venison, buffalo and bear and I happen to be, without sounding like a braggart, an excellent cook. Notice those recipes say "heavy seasoning" LOL - there is not enough of any kind of seasoning to make bear meat good yet that is just my experienced opinion.
PEACE y'all
