...if ya happens to visit one of them countries where everybody (or most everybody) drives on the wrong side of the road hire a driver, don't do it yourself.

...and another thing. When americans cross the street they look to the left and step out into the street if they don't see anything coming, then after stepping out into the street they look to the right but it's too late. Ya has to be really careful when walking across a street in all them wrong way driving countries. Kathy should avoid em at all costs

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: "Is this not the case to which we are referring? "
I think so. The next question, I guess, is What Does The Law Say About Diplomatic Immunity? Are Americans who commit crimes abroad immune to prosecution, or is it up to the State Department to decide on a case by case basis?

I will say this: Some years ago (1997), a diplomat from the Republic of Georgia killed a Maryland teenager while driving drunk. Although he had immunity, Georgia waived it so that the U.S. was able to prosecute. He was convicted and sentenced to 7 to 21 years. In 2000, he was repatriated to Georgia. In 2002, he was released.

It seems to me that the circumstances were very similar - except, of course, that driving on the wrong side of the road (in England) is obviously an accident while the Georgia diplomat was drunk.

Still, it looks like a precedent for waiving immunity exists and the U.S. has previously benefited from it. Fair is fair....

I don't think I would use this as an excuse to vote for a Democrat, though!!!! Their policies are many, many, MANY times worse than Trump's.
