Is that it was 'Plan A'. But the virus escaped
before the Chinese developed a vaccine for it.

Oh, I can. Suppose the goal was to perfect a virus that attacks Asians, and then to vaccinate the Chinese against it. That would be kind of handy if they ever decided to attack India, don't you think?

I'm not saying that's the case, but it COULD be. I don't think there's much doubt that releasing the virus at this time was unplanned. Unless, that is, the Chinese didn't do it. (Russians stated a while ago that the U.S. did it. And I have wondered if the Russians might have done it. There's also a chance that nobody did it... that it really is a natural mutation and that some numskull stupidly brought it to Wuhan.)
