It's 7:03 here in the eastern time zone, and I just read your posts regarding your spine and the doc.
Questions I have with your insurance are:
1. Is there a list of physicians that you can go to besides a clinic? You need a ORTHOPEDIC SPINE doctor.
2. Unless the next doctor you see is an orthopedic back-spine doctor , you are wasting your time. The pain will persist and the problem is not going to go away.
Every morning after I get out of bed, I immediately take the roll-on bottle of Salon Pas with 4% Lidocaine and wintergreen and roll that allover my lower back and to the right of center where the pain radiates.
I can barely walk unless I do that. IN a few minutes everything is tolerable and I can move again. I also applythis at night. It works and helps.
Nemo, suggest MELOXICAM 7.5 MG to the doc instead of Gabapentin. My mother took that crap and it was for neurological foot pain caused by acute diabetes called Neuropathy.
If it is destroying your liver you don't want it.
I take this meloxicam every day. It is CHEAP. That is the generic form of MOBIC. It helps.
NO, it isn't strong like a Norco or Opiate pain pill and has no side effects on me. I find the combination of the Salon PAs and this give me relief throughout the day.
You only take ONE of these Meloxicam pills daily.
I get a 90 day supply at a time and for me they are free via medicare prescription coverage of my advantage plan.
MOST generic drugs like this are very cheap for anyone. Look online for a GOOD Rx precription or coupon.
Your initial statement was correct. You need to find a different doctor. Be diligent and find an actual orthopedic back/spine doctor.
