After driving around this new 2019 Toyota Camry SE all day I have come to some conclusions. My Sonata Sport is a far nicer vehicle and it is a 2015 model. The seats in this car are narrow and not very comfortable. They do not adjust as much as mine either. There are no heated seats either.
Also, there is no tray on the console to put coins or change into and cover up and the handsfree phone system on this just sucks. Cannot talk to it to give name of person to call. You have to select from the list on the screen on the dash.
Acceleration is not its strong suit either. Further, it does ot have a CD player.
The ride quality is not bad. MAybe a little softer than the Sonata . Perhaps a beter equipped model would be better but hey, it's a free rental... I only chose it because I wanted to see how the Toyota mid size sedan compared to mine. Perfectly acceptable until I get mine back and could have gotten much worse so I should not be too harsh on it.
I was hoping it might have come better equipped than it did though... A little disappointed... But it's free .... lol!!
I think I may try to plug into the USB port an external cd player I use with my laptop from time to time and see if the audio system picks it up and allows me to play a CD through the system speakers.... That will be next test....
