SO2 . . . Sulfur Dioxide.
A major component of acid rain. Usually brought
about by burning coal - without the smoke stack
scrubbers America mandated but China did not
bother to put on their coal fired power plant
smoke stacks.

I suspect the SO2 levels found in China are actually
from burning coal. And maybe the guy(s) who kept
the 'real numbers' from getting out got the corona
virus . . .
