It was broke and no one fixed it."P A T I E N C E, Grasshopper. You might know what's wrong, but the doctor doesn't. X-rays are notoriously flawed. They often don't show breaks. And there might be more to it than "just" a break. There's probably not a break anymore, after all. The bones have probably fused.

In any case, you don't need to be afraid of a little MRI. Let the doctor do his job. All it's going to cost you is some time (and I'm not making light of that. I know you're hurting.) You saw all the hoops micro had to jump through before he finally had surgery. Insurance companies (and doctors) treat surgery as the LAST resort. People often die even in minor surgery, usually from the anesthesia. Remember Joan Rivers ... then let the doctor do what he's got to do.

Now, my surgery was offered quickly. But doctors knew almost immediately that I'd die without it. Your case is different, and such a dangerous course of treatment should be avoided when possible. They'll work their way around to the right treatment . . . eventually.

If he doesn't refer me to a bone specialist I am finding a new doctor. He wants to do an MRI and HE says insurance wont pay for it unless I do all this other bullshit first..an xrasy is all we need to do. I know EXACTLY what is wrong with my back. It was broke and no one fixed it. That damn chyro that doctored my xrays has prevented anyone else from seeing what REALLY happened...................More bullshit.........
