I have to have frequent blood tests in order to ensure that my blood is neither too thin nor too thick. It's measured via something called an INR (Internationalized Normalized Ratio) in which the normal person measures 1. My blood is supposed to be kept between 2 and 3, approximately meaning that it should take between 2 and 3 times as long to clot as yours would. Last week, I came in at 4.2... too high... so I'm taking less warfarin and being watched a little more closely again.

This morning, I took and passed the "bit lip" test - I bit my lip during breakfast and didn't die from it. So I'm optimistic that my INR will be back to where it should be.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
