Re: "Maybe China will soon be smaller than the U.S., population wise."I hear you. But if this thing turns out to be a weaponized virus out of the Wuhan bio-warfare lab then the disease isn't going to be "a Chinese problem" for very long.

The initial reports said that the virus did not spread easily. The newer reports describe it as highly-contagious. Initial reports also said it had a 3% mortality rate, but today I'm reading that there have been 41 deaths out of about 800 confirmed cases worldwide. That's more like 5%.

SARS, by the way, had a 9.6% mortality rate out of more than 8,000 cases. It too was a coronavirus. The new virus is distributing itself much more quickly and is, I think, already more widespread.
