The cartilage between the 2 lower most disk is gone. I have bones rubbing on bones. I feel it every time I move now. IT IS TIME,,, I am going in tomorrow and try to get community health apple insurance. I had it before so I am hoping.......IT aint gonna fix itself I have come to see LOL..... I take it real easy now and watch my every move.......

My eye is scared from the metal, I feel those now. Will take a couple days for them to heal..

And GoodRx is great for saving put in your drug and print the coupon. I saved 50% today on the drops. They wanted $27 and I paid $11.48,,,,,,,,,,
They numb the eye as well as take care of any infections.

Sooo, getting back on topic. How's your back doing today? I assume your eye is improving.

I walked about a quarter mile down my street and back this afternoon. I got back and showered, then remembered that I'm supposed to check my pulse whenever I finish exercising. I'm not supposed to let it get more than 20 beats higher than the resting rate... which is about 75 bpm now. At that point, after the shower, it was still 91 bpm, so it was obviously over the allowable level twenty minutes earlier.

What I did today is really my limit. I had a deep ache over my heart towards the end, and a similar ache on my back, behind my heart. I haven't felt that type of pain in the back before. But walking is supposed to be good for me so I'll do it again in a couple of days.

I'm heading to Dartmouth tomorrow to see my surgeon. I'll also be getting an X-ray and an echocardiogram. I think the healing is going well, but tomorrow I'll know officially.
