I'll speculate that maybe it has something to do with a lack of exercise, though. All I've done for the last month is to sit around.

As for the warfarin, it's because I'm a prepper. Does it make sense to be storing food and water because they may be hard to get one day, but not have a reserve of a drug that my life now depends on?

One of my cardiologists said that there have been studies to determine whether people with synthetic valves really need warfarin. Many, apparently, do not, but the study found that there was a 3% risk of developing a clot if warfarin wasn't taken. I don't know if that means 3% of the people would develop one, or that in 3% of the years folks needing it would get a clot, or something else. The conclusion, though, was that there was a significant chance of getting a clot, and the medicine is needed even if the chance in any given year is far from certain. You get a clot, you die. If I'm going to worry about not having food, I definitely should worry about not having my medicine too. Warfarin is the only medicine that I REALLY need. (Metoprolol is one that I *might* really need. It keeps my heartbeat stable. I'm not sure that I have that problem, though. Doctors have me taking the drug as a precaution.)

Okay, I give. Why a year's supply of warfarin? Inquiring minds want to know... lol!!

Other than the cholesterol getting hiogher which may well be from high stress and anxiety levels,( which would be normal under circumstances), what else is serious and not okay?
Methinks you is a little pessimistic but not thinking I would be any different. You still ain't far removed from this serious procedure and it will take time to heal good and solid again...

That said, it's good to have you posting here again. Better stillif we get your BETTER half commenting!
