I carry my cell phone whenever I go outside. It is my 911 lifeline. Stasia lives down below. She is around most of the time. She just needs to get a phone that works here. LOL.....I hear what you saying DE!!

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Re: "Room mate in a 31' 5th wheel?????? NAAAAAAA dat aint gonna work.."
You've got to think outside the box.

When my mom was in her 80s, my dad went somewhere and left her at home. She went outside and took a fall. She wasn't hurt, but she couldn't get back up. She was out there for something like 5 hours until my dad came home. As I recall, it was pretty hot... over 100°... but, fortunately, she wasn't in the sun.

Living alone when you get older is BAD NEWS. What would you do if you had even a minor stroke, seizure or heart attack? How long until someone could get you to a hospital?

That's my point. Living by yourself when you're 50 is one thing. Doing it when you're 70 is a different matter. If the only way to avoid being alone is to make a change in your living quarters, it's worth considering.

This goes for DG too, btw...
