My wife went through a total knee replacement around 8 years ago. It was tough on her because she also had to have her bone angles cut so she could get rid of the knock kneed alignment and stand straight with both legs. Well worth it. She was in and stayed for 4 days and then came home and had physical therapist come to house to work her through this and get her walking again. Took over a month and a lot of pain. We were thankful for the pecocet at that time in carefully controlled dosages.
Hope all goes well for your mrs. sire. I'll do what I do best while she is going through this....

mz ribit going in hosp thurs am (early) may come home fri or sat. I asked her if I could have company come stay overnight just so my back don't get cold. She says "Nope". Woman sure knows how to ruin a good time.
I predict she will get well soon as no one except me can eat my cooking for long. There are some folks out there who do not realize that a can of sardines a can of pork and beans and some saltines make a great meal. Esp for breakfast.
