Just our of humble curiosity, I hope your pry bar did not damage the doors or seals? It sounds like the seals aren't too good though.

Question. Did you try or have you ever tried using de-icer spray on the ice around your doors , windows etc. It works. A mixture of Alcohol and some water does wonders as well and it melts ice by lowering freezing point and does nt damage anything nor require any labor.

Just curious and trying to help a tiny bit...
