...mz ribit had to get up early this morning to get ready for a doctors appointment. She set her clock prior to going to bed. I got my shower and got in the sack first. She came along afterward. I knew she had set the clock for 7am to give her time to get dressed, have breakfast etc.
...later on I heard her clock go off, but I soon dozed and woke up again after a few hours. I looked up at the clock by the bed and it said 1:30. Now I knew that I had heard the clock go off at 7am so when it now told me that it was 1:30 I ran amok and woke her up. Told her it was 1:30 in the afternoon. She said that it wasn't cause it was still dark outside. I am a democrat at that time of day. Reason and logic do not get a second thought.
...mz ribit raised heck and fussed at me for half an hour for waking her up. I heard the clock I says, You was dreaming she says. She was thoroughly P O'd at me and let me know about it. She couldn't get back to sleep so she got up and left the bedroom for about half an hour. She came back and crawled back under the covers. All was calm until I asked her,"since you are up, aren't you going to wish me a happy birthday?"
...and that is why I was sitting in my office posting at 4:00 am.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
