That was a beat down period. The Horns looked like a solid top tier team. Next season should be an interesting one for you all. See if the Horns can get back to the glory years of giving the Sooners and Rest of the conference the proverbial Horn....
Yep, we're looking forward to having Mike Yurcich, but for The Alamo Bowl against the Utah Utes, head coach Tom Herman did all of the offensive play calling because the former offensive coordinator had already been fired. Herman mixed it up far better than in any other game this season. I wish he would continue in that role, but he doesn't believe he can be the head coach and the offensive coordinator for a whole season.
I submit that Texas played LSU tougher than any other team, so far this season. As the season progressed, the Longhorns started sustaining a lot of injuries - especially on defense. We were still missing some of our defensive standouts at The Alamo Bowl, but we got enough of 'em healthy enough to pretty much wreck Utah's offense all game long.
