Atomic Bob's Stock Forum - The Golden Thread

A little reflection today has brought some things of my life into view and focus and people here are and have been a part of that.
I am ill. Had to see doctor earlier and I am pneumonia's doorstep. This has been something that I have battled most of my life between it and stagesof bronchitis that lead to the pnemonia and create difficulty getting enough air into lungs to feel like I got enough oxygen. So I am headed for bed soon and have been laying in recliner all day with head upright so I can breathe and not cough my lungs out.

A spitoon would come in handy...

Anyway, while we are all individuals, we are almost like a small family.

This past year has been difficult for some, life changing, and in De's case, serious medically as well as his complete relocation and all the projects going on there.
Some of us have LOST our loved ones. My heart goes out to those folks because of the deep loss they have suffered. I cannot imagine the heartache and feeling of lostness were my wife were to suddenly be taken from me. I would not want to go on living.

Others just keep on keeping on and seeing humor in almost everything and that is really good medicine.. I can always count on Ribs making me laugh daily and I am so thankful for that! Generally I am a serious person so I need the laughter to help lighten me up...

There are folks who just are always consistent, polite, and yet have insights and knowledge that they share like Zim and nacl and DG and of course, our very own resident Wizard whom I have enjoyed on more than one board over years.

By far NEMO is the one who is the most talented mechanically and no matter the circumstances always keeps on keeping on and enjoying life. He is refreshing and very enjoyable.

May you all be blessed with good things to come in the New Year that GOD has given us, and I thank eachof you for having a part in my own life in your own ways, and I have been blessed so many times by the things you have said. Thank You everyone.

Kathy, I will continue to lift your brother before the throne of grace as well as yourself. Same for you De until you fully recover.

And now Father, as this year closes and by your power a new one will begin, I would ask you to meet the needs of each one of these people. They all have needs that you know about. Some are hurting inside and some are hurting outside. Some are for other things that we do not know. YOU KNOW Lord, for nothing escapes your attention. I come before your throne boldly in the name of Jesus and in HIS NAME and claiming HIS promises I would ask for the needs of my friends to be met by your all powerful will and grace and goodness. Supply GRACE and Peace to hearts and strength to bodies that are in need of healing and recovery.
Bless each of these dear people Lord according to your pleasure and we will thank you and praise You forever for we ask these thigs in the name of Jesus Christ, the Blessed SON of God, and for HIS glory, amen and amen.
