option 3 would have been to simply say nothing and walk on out and leave the jabbering imbecile there talking to himself... Some things simply don't need to be vocalized.... They can be easily visualized.

...last time I checked, the EU chief doesn't have a say in this matter. The brits should take notice of the following story.

A friend of mine had been placed in an intolerable situation at work and after listening to a lengthy diatribe by the "big bosses nephew" on his demands and expectations my friend raised his hand to ask a question. He was called on immediately. "Do you require a written notice, or will a simple "F. U. I quit" be sufficient?

The brits should just say, "F U we quit".
