As my wife and I await the arrival of family we uietly shared some very meager gifts (tokens) with each other. We decided early on that we did not need to see how much money we could spend on things that neither of us need nor will use. We did do well by our grandchildren and kids. Although what do you get a child whose income is in excess of half a million a year?
As De, Nemo, and hydro have pointed out, and what GOD pointed out with the Baby in the manger, the best gift is the gift of LOVE. You cannot put a price or value on unconditional love.
Our rather large one year old pup 65-70 pounds now and abou three feet long, 25 inches tall, is enjoying some special treats we bought him to chew.

WELCOME BACK HOME. MRS. DE, your best Christmas present arrived home with your help and is the best present you could get, a husband in one piece and going to get better. He is a fortunate man to have a loving wife who will care for him.. Joey does not know how fortunate he is with both of you guys. He will figure it out on his own one day.
I would like to leave one thoght today that nobody ever seems to bring up on television, including all the Television preachers and Poops and Priests.
Government is ordained of and by GOD HIMSELF.
Lest you forget.
HOWEVER, ANYONE and everyone in Governemt capacity, will be held strictly aacountable for their actiions and deeds according to the Holy Scriptures that GOD gave us.
THey are to use theoroffices wisely, justly, and for the good of people, as well as Governing correctly and to not "be a terror" to people. ALL officials will be held SPECIALLY accountable for the use of that office.
Yes folks, this is atually in the New Testament and I have taught this many times especially on special days at Church when we have had the elected officials from the county come to honor them for their service, but toremind them of their ACCOUNTABILITY according to the Scriptures.
So in the end for each one of these so called politicians who abuse their office and think that nobody sees, well, GOD sees and writes it all down. They are not getting away with it.
For those who hold office and do good, you will be rewarded.
