Everbody and every part of the country has little quirks and if ya don't laugh at your own, you don't have the right to laugh at anyone else. One should never take themselves too seriously, and yankees is really funny.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
