Thank you so very much for taking the time out of this day of anxiety, tension, stress, and concern for your soul mate who underwent that heart procedure. You are an amazing and special person. I can see why you are the light and life in Decomp.

How is that wonderfully talented young man Joey doing at UVA? My daughter had considered going there to their Law College and we visited that campus several times. It is a special place and Joey will receive an excellent education there.

De is going to be quite a bit uncomfortable for some time as his bones need to heal where they cracked his chest open to gain access and of course the tissues that were all involved need time to heal back as well. My father in law underwent a chest split cardiac surgery some twenty plus years ago and it took awhile for that healing process.

PLease tell him we are ALL thinking of him and wishing him a speedy recovery. We miss his wit and talents but from what I gather, you are the one with the computer savvy.

A BLESSED and Merry Christmas is wished for you and De and Joey from ALL of US here at this little corner of the world that Bob so graciously puts up with us.

Give my best to DE and tell him to REST and not be playing on the laptop. He needs YOU a lot more than he needs US.
God Bless ,

micro.....

Hello, all. Just a quick update for you.

Decomp's surgeon told me that his surgery could not have gone better.

He is currently in the cardiac care unit, which unfortunately does not allow any plants or flowers in the ward. Sad

As for a stripper, well, the man just got a new valve - no need to stress it quite so early, don't you think?

He's expected to be hospitalized anywhere from 4 to 7 days. I'm hoping to be able to get his laptop set up for him tomorrow - I know once he's able to stay awake for more than a few minutes at a time, he will want to pop in and chat.
