If you read this,
please know that we all here are pulling for you and DE to come through with flying colors and bring you back a man who has a healthier heart than ever!

I have turned him over to Christ and ampraying for him in a couple minutes as they prep him for the surgery.

I always get really nervous at prep time and even now justthinking about it I am very nervous. It's normal, but I hate that feeling. The anasthesiologist can give him some anxiety happy juice in the IV to calm and relax him so do not be bashful to ask. I did on my last spine surgery. I felt much better and more relaxed.


Please let us know how he is as soon as you possibly can.

God Bless you and De and know that you have an advocate with the Father in Jesus and a FRIEND that will bring your names before HIS Throne right now.

You guys are not alone in this.. The LORD Jesus is watching and has HIS HAND on the Surgeon and HIS TEAM, and mostly on DE. The Holy Spirit will comfort you and give you peace.

Re: "Take care of yourself sportfan."Thanks everyone. It's not my call for a change - but I think my fate is in some very capable hands.

I'm checking in at the hospital at 0645. "The Procedure" begins at 0830. It should end at 1230. (Docs gotta get their lunches, you know.) About three hours later, they'll try to wake me up. I'm a pretty deep sleeper, though, so don't count on THAT happening.

*yawn* I'd best hit the hay. Catch you on the flip side.
