As a rule, if you're in the hospital for something that isn't life threatening, it's better to go home soon. But when it's serious... when side effects are real possibilities... you want to milk your stay for as long as possible.

Hospitals are businesses, and they're trying to make money. Days in the hospital are expensive. When the insurance companies start applying pressure, the hospitals in turn start pressuring patients to leave - even when that's not in the patients' best interests. But patients can resist this. If they do it right, they'll usually win another day or two. Hospitals do *NOT* want to be sued for a rushed discharge that led to a premature injury or death. They want to make it look like they accommodated the patient's wishes.

The POS hospital here is the opposite. They want to stroke everyday in the bed as they can.............I will never go to it again...... They are the reason things and prices are what they are in this scam medical bullshit...................I hate this whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
