For maybe ten additional years.

Here's what's most likely going to happen: With the advances in both robotics and artificial intelligence, *all* jobs are going to go away - I'd say within 25 years, but it's starting now. The only remaining role for humans will be BUSINESS OWNERSHIP (for a lucky few) and GOVERNMENT. For this reason, Universal Basic Income _will_ be coming our way, with corporations being heavily taxed to pay for it. Corporations will eventually become autonomous, perhaps by building their own automated defenses or by leaving the country. At that point, they will no longer fear the governments and will stop paying the tax.

Not quite.

We will still need people to feed raw materials into
the machines. And we will still need people to remove
finished product from the machines. Sales people
to sell the products. And, most important of all,
we will need folks to maintain and repair the
machines.
