Re: "Be my first time "You're being called in. That doesn't mean you'll do more than sit in the jurors' waiting area.

Suppose they expect to start 6 trials and will need to pick 72 jurors tomorrow. They might call in 300 people. When they interview 90, they may have the 72 they need. All the others are extras. They just sit and wait to see if they're needed.
