But the saddest take came from actor Mikel Jollett, who thinks a black woman couldn't go very far in presidential politics because she doesn't have a massive pile of cash.
The reason Harris' campaign flopped is because she continually tried to go whichever way the wind blowed. She continually changed her positions while trying to pretend to be a "progressive prosecutor." Even the leftist mainstream media outlets called her out for her record while she was the District Attorney in San Francisco.
She continually ran with this idea that should could "prosecute" President Donald Trump's so-called impeachment crimes. It was a great talking point to rally the base, but people quickly got tired of it. And she didn't really have any policy positions other than "Congress will do what I say or I'll do ____ by executive action." Translation: she wanted to be a dictator.
Harris dropping out isn't because people are racist or sexist. It's because voters don't agree with her policy positions. If she was a white man and did the exact same things – hemorrhaged money, treated staffers like crap and threw out bumper sticker slogans – they too would have to end their campaign by now.
Democrats love to focus on people's gender, race and sexuality. What happened to looking at a leader based on their experiences and eligibility instead of checking off these various diversity boxes?
