...the days of slavery are a horrible part of our history. During those times if a slave left the plantation and was caught they were brought back and beaten with some kind of whip. Often these beatings were carried out by other slaves. Like I said, an ugly part of our history, but nevertheless a fact.
...what the chief of police who was fired did was to wander off the democrat plantation. He questioned Jussie Smolletts honesty and whether or not the prosecutor, Kim Foxx was corrupt. Later on we learn that Kim Foxx was called by Michelle Obama or someone on her staff and she was told that jussie was a friend of the family and that if anything could be done for him in the investigation blah blah blah. When you are the cook county district attorney with your eye on a federal bench, maybe even the supreme court and the former first lady calls, you listen. 30 days before his retirement the Mayor (who formerly held the job that Kim Foxx holds now) fires him.
...like I told ya earlier in this piece. Sometimes the slaves were beaten by other slaves when they left the plantation. That ugly practice continues today, and the democats still own the plantation.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
