An armed bread delivery man named Joseph Chilton foiled a robbery at a Hardee's fast-food restaurant in Georgia by shooting the armed robber during a gun fight.
The robbery suspect, Damario Parrish, was injured after a "short gun battle" with Joseph Chilton, who stepped into action after he heard screams from a Hardee's restaurant in Ellenwood, Georgia on Nov. 30. No one else was hurt.
The Clayton County Sheriff's Office was so impressed by Chilton's bravery in "defending those who could not defend themselves" that Sheriff Victor Hill named Chilton an honorary deputy and inducted him into the Sheriff's Posse Hall of Fame. ...
