Good morning and a blessed Lord's Day to you all!

De, That sounds beyond awful and trying to fit a watermelon through a garden hose isn't going to feel too good either.
I have been fortunate enough in my life to never have had a kidney stone nor gall stones.
I simply got mountains of arthritis. All in my spine except for the left thumb joint.

That lets me know it is there every single day. At some point I may let doc go ahead and clean it out and replace that joint.

But you my friend are in a whole different universe with that oversized asteroind going through your body and small inside diameter tubing.

I feel your pain and unfortunately, none of us can help ya with it. If I could I would.

Hang tough big guy. Youi have much bigger fish to fry and
get through. This did not help any.

Hope it gets through and out quickly for ya De!

'cuz my body is falling apart, and I could only have caught it here - where most of you are falling apart too. Too bad I like you guys. Sad

I woke with the same symptoms as last year, but maybe even more intense. I woke my wife telling her up front that I thought I had another kidney stone. We dressed, headed to the car and I threw up once. We got to the hospital where I eventually threw up three more times. Unlike last year, putting pressure on my gut wasn't very helpful. It definitely didn't make the pain go away. After 7 hours and increasingly powerful medications including Toradol, Morphine and Percocet, the muscle spasms / pain FINALLY stopped. For most of that time I was pretty unhappy.

The CT scan showed that I was right: Another kidney stone. Last year I had two stones of less than 2 mm each. Today's stone was 4mm. At 5 mm, the stone will supposedly be unable to make its way to my bladder and either a sonic procedure or surgery would be required.

4 mm. Aargh. Passing it will probably be an experience.
